Where to start!!! This company is AMAZING. Response time was quick when requesting a quote. Sara is fantastic to work with, and answers all questions, concerns immediately. The moving crew especially Codie and his partner are the best guys. If you are looking for a moving company this is the one. I recently moved from Halifax, NS to Kelowna, BC and from start to finish this company was super efficient. Not only did my stuff come packaged perfectly, nothing was damaged. Codie and his partner went above and beyond by strategically placing my items in my temporary storage unit. Codie even put my bike back together. So professional. I had about as excellent an experience as I could expect from GCVL when I moved from Vancouver to Calgary, from the customer service and dispatch answering all my questions, to the driver (Daniel) and each of the guys who helped him in each location (Tim and Craig). They were all friendly and professional, and Daniel always maintained a great attitude despite my many requests, such as checking ID and having me come to the weighing of the moving truck before and after pickup of my stuff. In addition, the goods were delivered on time and in perfect condition. My parents will be using GVCL when they move next year as well.

What a fantastic experience my sister had with this company, from loading her storage unit and deliver it to Revelstoke. The office kept her updated via emails and spread sheets. Jag was there in BC and AB during the loading and unloading. Both he and Sukh were patient and made sure I was happy before they left. Items were packed and transported well. Today was moving day for me, and as exhausted as I am…I had to jump on and give a 5* review and huge Thankyou to the team at GCVL. We’re moving across the country – It’s a really stressful thing to do!! The entire team from estimator Kathy to dispatch team to driver Ron and his amazing loading team today have been incredible at every step. Their level of professionalism, organization, excellent communication and attention to detail have provided us with a level of comfort that has helped evaporate the stress. Every item was inventoried, tagged, and thoughtfully and carefully wrapped and packed. The team were punctual, extremely hard working, polite and super careful with our belongings. I used GCVL to relocate to another province. This is the first great moving experience I’ve had and I will definitely use them again in future. Kathy was very precise creating an estimate and advised me of other comparable companies (and which companies are not legitimate to avoid) to obtain quotes from plus she caught what they missed to ensure they were accurate. They beat all other quotes I obtained. The crew showed up on time, packed my entire apartment in a few hours and gave me a heads up when they were going to arrive to my new location. They were friendly, professional and nothing was lost or broken. There was a slight discrepancy on packing supplies but Candace resolved it right away. I highly recommend them!

We used GCVL to move from Ontario to Calgary and from the moment we first interacted with the team we received high quality customer service, which continued through until our final piece of furniture was dropped off.

What stands out about GCVL was their ability to deliver on their commitments. For our move one of the critical considerations was the minimizing the outstanding time from pick-up through drop-off. The GCVL team exceeded our expectations by delivering our belongings to our new home 10 days after pick-up – well within their promised window of 17 days.

GCVL’s staff were top notch – ensuring that all our questions were answered and completing all action items promptly. Kathy, our contact person at headquarters was excellent, very pleasant to correspond with and went above and beyond to ensure that a change to our pick-up time was scheduled without any issues. Had a great experience with them! They were on time, took care of our stuff and took them an hour to unpack and unwrap all of our furniture into our new home! The driver was in contact with us throughout his trip from Ontario to Calgary to keep us updated on the arrival date of our stuff. Every step of the way the move was handled professionally, competently and with great care and attention given to our move and to us as customers. Starting with Candice at Great Canadian Van Lines who kept me informed about all the details of the load in Montreal, to the efficiency of the load with the shuttle company ProAction Transport and to our Great Canadian Van Lines long haul driver, Amar, who delivered our load in Calgary with his crew Peter and Tim. I used the services of GCVL for a long distance move between provinces. My initial communication was with Kathy and she was very helpful throughout. The whole process was pretty simple and transparent and after comparing quotations from a few other moving companies I found GCVL offered the best value for money. Their prices are much more reasonable than competitors and the service is top notch.

There was some confusion related to the pickup from the point of origin but once I communicated with their customer service it was taken care of immediately without any hassle on my part. Everything went smoothly. The guys who came to pick up the stuff were professionals and clearly knew what they were doing. They packed and loaded everything in an hour and it was impressive how they handled everything with care. They notified me 48 hours in advance about the delivery date and time so I had enough time to notify my building. The movers were again super friendly and unloaded everything in less than an hour. Nothing was damaged! Top quality service!

Great experience with Great Canadian Van Lines. They showed up on time and packed up and wrapped all loosed items carefully and emptied the whole condo faster than expected. The delivery accross the country went faster than estimated. Showed up at agreed on time and delivered everything to the new place on third floor. Nothing was damaged and everything was present. I highly recommend this moving company. I moved from BC to Alberta and the movers were very professional, organized and fast. They knew what they were doing, didn’t have any sort of damage to anything. Wrapped everything well so when it all arrived it was well protected the whole travel. The movers we had delivering I believe were Dave and Steve? They were really great! Super friendly and knew exactly what they were doing!And the price was a good value. All in all, if I know any friends or family, (or strangers) moving I definitely recommend them. Best moving truck experience ever!

Ron and his crew from Great Canadian Van Lines were amazing to work with for our long distance move from Ontario to Alberta including a full packing service for our condo and offsite storage locker. They were very responsive to emails and questions before I had booked.
