I recently moved halfway across Canada with Great Canadian and was extremely impressed. Their prices may not have been the lowest, but their professional, responsive, and efficient service was WELL worth any extra cost. Everyone, from the coordinators to the drivers, did their best to make sure the whole process went smoothly and it made a big difference. Highly recommend.

Really great customer service! This was my first time moving all my things and Sara in particular was so reassuring and such a great communicator. Great Canadian Van Lines is very reliable and efficient. Movers were also so fantastic, really polite, quick, and communicative. Cole and his crew of really nice men packed up my belongings for me in White Rock, B.C. and moved them to Saskatchewan in August 2022. The men were friendly and really hard workers, they took care of all of my stuff (I didn’t know I had so much stuff to be honest) and packed it so well and nothing was broken, even the jar with spaghetti noodles, none of them were broken…. now that’s good packing. They were very careful with not mixing things up and putting similar stuff together in the same boxes so that when they unloaded it, it could go together. Cole and two guys unpacked for me here and they worked so hard, non stop, and helped me out a great deal. I am very glad I chose Great Canadian Van Lines and would recommend them. I have also told my friends how nice it is to have some one else do the packing/unpacking for you and they have said if they ever move again that’s what they are going to do.

Awesome service. Wade, Robin, Rory, and the rest of the crew did a great job transporting our goods from Winnipeg to Niagara Falls. Would definitely recommend this team for long haul transportation .

I loved my experience with Great Canadian Van Lines.
I started out by feeling so stressed about a cross-province move from BC to ON. From the minute I interacted with Sara, she was thorough, patient and confident. I found the quote detailed and knew there would be no last minute surprises.
I’ve never done this before, so I must admit, I continued to feel anxious even though I felt like I was in the right place with the right people to help me with the move.
What happened on the delivery day just blew my mind !!
Everything was just as planned and all my things got here on time and in full. The team that helped me with packing + uninstall etc in BC as well as the team that helped unpack and then re-install in ON were possibly the best I’ve experienced.
Among other things (and I shipped a LOT of stuff) I was most nervous about shipping my 15 year old violin – and was just stunned to know that even the tune set up of my violin was not off when they unloaded it!! That’s the amount of care that was taken in moving my things.

Had a very good experience with Great Canadian Van Lines, moving from western Canada to Ontario this summer. Sara, in sales, was simply wonderful, promptly answering all of our questions and helping us to organize our move. She took the worry out of what can be a stressful experience. The moving team, supervised by driver Amar, were very efficient and rapid in wrapping up our furniture carefully and getting it to its destination on time and when expected. I would use this company again.

This company is 10/10 and I highly recommend them and would most definitely use them if I ever move again. The team scores full points for everything: from original office communications helping me to estimate my load and putting my mind at ease because I had never coordinated a move before! ; to professionalism throughout the whole process of packing, loading, delivery and final set up; including on time pick up and delivery; through to accurate and affordable estimating that matched the final invoice. I had the same driver, Ron, coordinating my move at pick up and again at delivery. He answered all my questions/worries on moving day and delivered to my new home on the day and within the time he promised. There were zero unexpected surprises or changes throughout the whole process. Everything was invoiced, picked up and delivered safely as promised.

I recently used Great Canadian Van Lines for a move from Vancouver to London Ontario. Their prices were completive and Kathy was responsive and answered all my questions. I was concerned about the weight of my load because its just an estimate. I had no idea what my stuff weighed, but when I got my final bill, it was less that quoted. A nice surprise. Harry and his partner arrived as scheduled to load my items. The loading team were efficient and professional. Everything was wrapped much better than I would have ever expected. Harry was excellent. He arrived in London when he said he would and the unload went as well as the loading in Vancouver. Everything arrived and was unpacked. Overall a wonderful experience

We just moved from Langley BC to Saint John NB using Great Canadian Van lines.
They came exactly when they said they would on April 23rd, delivered here on May 11th which was early in the two weeks time range of potential delivery.
Everything came in great shape, we haven’t opened all the boxes yet as we’re in an Airbnb but what we have is all fine. The driver was super nice and helpful. Totally recommend.

Moving across the country is a stressful experience and when you’ve had a bad experience in the past, see that the price of gas is increasing and hear in the media that some moving companies are inflating their prices, the anxiety level is pretty high. Friends who moved last year recommended Great Canadian Van Lines and I’m very happy they did. My move from Vancouver to a remote location in New-Brunswick was nothing like my previous experience. The company gave me a detailed written estimate based on an exhaustive list of the items that I was planning to ship, sent documentation about what to expect on the day of the move and a list of items that were not recommended or allowed. Kathy answered all of my questions, via email and by phone before and after the contract was signed. On the day of the move, when I realize that I had packed double the number of boxes than what I had initially expected (never wait at the last minute to finish packing!), Taylor provided with an update of the estimation within the day. Amar was very patient as he identified and made the inventory of my stuff, helped pack my floor lamp and made some adjustment to ensure that my mirror and painting would be better protected while Mike efficiently transported items to the shuttle. The actual price, after weighing the items, was lower than the updated estimation. And although I was given what seemed to me to be a rather large timeframe for delivery (2 and a half weeks), Amar who was driving the shipment across the country was able to narrow down that timeframe when I asked about it, and he delivered at the very beginning of his timeframe. If I ever move again, I will definitely use Great Canadian Van Lines and will highly recommend them to my friends and family.

We recently moved from Ontario to BC using Great Canadian Van Lines. It was easy to arrange online thanks to Sara who responded quickly to any changes or questions. Everything was done by email and was easy to understand. All the costs were laid out and simple to read. The payment was easy too. Harry our crew chief was friendly and organized. I can’t yet comment on whether everything arrived intact as our things are sitting in our storage unit waiting for our place to be ready. Our experience with Great Canadian Van Lines was head and shoulders above their competitors. We had tried to hire a different company who asked for photos of all of our belongings, and after days of emailing back and forth still needed to send a person to our home for an assessment – though they couldn’t book an appointment for 10 days! We immediately switched to Great Canadian Van Lines who were prompt, professional and so easy to communicate with. Their online portal was simple to use, and from end to end our move from BC to Alberta was seamless.

The movers themselves were capable, kind, quick and careful with all of our items, and really seemed to have a passion for the work they were doing. After seeing so many items related to our cat (scratcher, bed, etc.) they asked to see him and heaped praise on what a good boy he was while giving him scritches. A really nice moment amidst a stressful time that was made so much easier by this company.

I can’t say enough good things about this team. Highly recommend. I moved from Vancouver to Montreal in the winter – and, thanks to them, without a hitch. I knew I was in good hands dealing with Kathy who’s the point person. She gave me all the information I needed to know what to pack and what not to pack, as well as why certain items couldn’t come with the move. She was so clear. Plus she took my calls whenever I wasn’t sure of something. In fact, she held my hand the entire way. Plus Daniel, my mover, was amazing. On departure day, the team arrived as promised at 9AM, moved all my boxes from the basement to the their truck very carefully and quickly, couple hours later they sent me the actual weight(which turned out to be less than estimated, which is really good).
